A Memorable 40th Birthday Portrait Session with a Skyline Backdrop

This memorable 40th birthday portrait session with a skyline backdrop deserved a permanent spot on my blog it was too good. Turning 40 is a milestone worthy of celebration and reflection and really looking back at what you’ve accomplished. Venus has a lot to reflect on as a mom of three, wife and educator. I am so glad we got a chance to celebrate her a little bit and soak up this big milestone. She’s a real MVP, no doubt about it.

Let me tell you, if you’ve never thought about a downtown photoshoot, you absolutely should. Downtown Phoenix offers this vibe that just can’t be beat. The skyline? Stunning. And the lighting? Absolute perfection. Plus, bonus: no hiking through the desert in stilettos or dodging alleyway dumpsters.

Is it really that easy? YES!

I give you the location to put into google maps and meet you at the top of the building. We did this photoshoot about 2 hours before sunset and we got some beautiful lighting. This spot never disappoints. If you are looking for a more urban clean sophisticated location I can’t recommend this one enough. Its also a great one for family sessions as well for similar reasons. There’s no walking issue or hassle of trying to find parking and juggle extra items with you. You can really park your car right next to where we’ll shoot. As a mom myself, that sounds absolutely perfect to me.
